7.5 miles, 25 yards at a time (conclusion)...

Today, I swam almost a half-mile, which concludes my swim commitment for the month of June with 7.5 miles completed.

I believe the English Channel is only 21 miles wide (at the narrowest part - is "narrowest" a word ? - if not, it should be) so you are 1/3 of the way there. Congrats ! Sorry about your back but sounds as if you recovered enough to swim 1/2 mile !
