My mother was generous this Christmas and gave us cash, so we are purchasing this cool ceiling fan from Mission Motif in Kirkwood.

Yesterday, at 14:40, the following email arrived in my inbox.

Tonight we put an offer in on this house! We're very excited about it.

No longer homeowners....

Yesterday was the closing on our house. We got our check and are glad to have one less thing tying us to Austin. I'm sure we'll miss the house, I lived there for almost 9 years. I got married while living there. I hope the new owners nothing but the best and hope that the house is as perfect for them as it was for us.

That earlier post about my move from Round Rock to Atlanta to Austin might confuse you. So, if you're out of the loop on our ongoing plans, here it is in a nutshell.
1. Our house should sell this week.
2. Last week, we moved to Atlanta
3. This week, I moved back to Austin to stay with friends (thanks BigMac & HeidiMac!), until I can get a job in Atlanta.
