El Amistad Club of Round Rock, Texas is a non-profit civic organization created in 1968. The founders joined forces to support efforts emphasizing education, community services, veterans recognition and Hispanic cultural awareness. The club planned annual events and invited area businesses who share a common goal for the good of our community. We're gonna head over there in about an hour. Feel free to join us there!
The club's premier fund raiser is Fiesta Amistad which was originally held at Veterans Memorial Park on the banks of Brushy Creek. In 1988, the annual fiesta outgrew its original location and was moved to downtown Round Rock. It has continued to grow into Central Texas' largest Hispanic two day event. Fiesta Amistad is always held on Memorial Day weekend and features live music, plenty of food, and family entertainment.
