It sounds like a poker game of some sort... however, only Jim Gardner is likely to know the actual name.
I just realized that I didn't really explain it - although in the context of a card game, I think it's quite obvious. Deal the first card face-down, and then 4 more face-up.
Your deputy dog FML has found that 1 Up 4 Down was the title of Episode 1, Season 1 of a T.V. drama called "Sunset Beat" which aired on April 21, 1990. I couldn't find out anymore about it but if you think I deserve the prize, send it to my home address.
Oops, just realized I got it reversed so scratch my earlier post idea and you can give the prize to bigmac.
Oops, again. I was right about the T.V. episode name - I just reversed it in my earlier post. So scratch the second post. If you are still confused about it, just send me the prize anyway. :)
Also, I think it is a gear pattern in manual shift cars and/or motorcycles but I have spent all the time I care to trying to win your prize so this is my last comment!
