New version of Yahoo Maps

Tonight, according to Jeremy Zawodny's Blog, the new version (link to Beta) of Yahoo Maps will be launched. There are a couple other related interesting sites:

• Yahoo! Maps Web Services - Maps Application Gallery- A list of applications that make use of the new API, including:
• Local Events Browser (Currently just a demo)
• Flickr Maps
  
• Yahoo! Maps Web Services - Introducting the Yahoo! Maps APIs
