'Grand' in this case, is slang for 1000. This is the 1000th post to Does the fun ever start?
When I started this blog in May, 2004, it was an experiment and it still is. I don't know what keeps it going. Sometimes, I've felt pressured to post when I didn't have anything to say and often I'm surprised at just how trivial the posts are. At the end of the day, I like having a place on the internet. As I've mentioned before, I also have a wildly inflated sense of Ego because of my blog.
So, the experiment continues...

I think you also have a wildly inflated sense of memory -- how in the world do you keep up with how many times you have posted on your blog? Or how do you remember the time you put "wildly inflated sense of ego because of my blog" statement on another post??? Gosh, I'm impressed! I have a blog and frankly don't remember one form thing I have ever written on it.
