Christmas in September?

This was a picture I took Wednesday night at Target. Within five feet of where I was standing, I saw Christmas stuff, Halloween stuff and back-to-school items. The picture is crazy blurry, but I thought it was interesting enough to bbe included here.

Celebrity Sighting

Last night, at the Braves game (we won), I saw and greeted Bernie Marcus. He and Arthur Blank founded The Home Depot in 1978. Less than thirty years later, The Home Depot employs 355,000 associates.

I swear this isn't turning into a sports blog. We're here to see the Brewers and Braves.

Now I'm gonna see if I'm Brave enough to order a Brew.

I won tickets at work, so Amy and I are here tonight to see the Braves play the Florida Marlins. We thought we had executive box seats, but they're just seats. They're about twelve rows behind Charles and Rosalie, who are also here tonight.

Nearly three years ago, I mentioned on this blog that it is possible to avoid the receipt checkers at Fry's. I continue to avoid showing my receipt when leaving a store. If they ask me to show it a second time, I always let them. Here's a great story about a guy that refused to and the trouble he got into. I'm sure that his lawsuit(s) will be successful.
