Sony paying big bucks for used Dells

Sony Trade-In "Go Pro 2" Program: "For a limited time, you can you can trade in your qualifying notebook and receive at least $300 cash back when you purchase a VAIO BX Series business notebook.

Purchase a BX Series computer and trade in any working notebook and receive a minimum $300 trade. Trade in a Dell and receive a minimum $500 trade."
Dell often sells the low-end Inspiron 1200 for $399 or $449. You could buy this notebook and then turn around and then trade it in and save $500 off a VAIO. That's crazy. I bought my working Dell notebook for $150 from www.used-pcs.com. This promotion is just Sony's way of proving that their prices are artificially high.
