It should be the name of a band! Bands are notorious for having a name that they are neither one or the other of their names - some that come to mind are:
Smashing Pumpkins
Bare Naked Ladies
The Dead Milkmen
Guns and Roses
Nine Inch Nails
I'll bet you thought I didn't know the names of any bands, didn't you?
Guns and Roses were actually Guns and Roses. The band was formed by Tracii Guns and Axl Rose, but you're right about the other ones. Where did you hear about the Dead Milkmen?
