Go Juno!!! Ellen Page is the new black or Natalie Portman (from Garden State) or whatever! The only thing that is better than Page's performance is nothing!!! Well hers is followed closely by the 2nd place acting job of one Jason Bateman, who is truly outdone by that of "George" Michael Cera pushing the "Teen Wolf Too" Star's performance to at least second and a half. But then there are the wonderful skills of one Sydney Bristow who comes in at least with a strong 3rd place showing. Which with the soundtrack coming in with a close second to Page's #1, tip-top, absolutely perfect performance as the best things associated with the flick... Todd Howard is a distant 5th. Especially since my favorite thing about Juno is the witty dialogue...behind the performance of Ellen Page (rollergirlly star of the new movie about some rollergirl, perhaps based on the ones in Austin?...Did I just make that up? Maybe E can let me know in a follow-up blog or something)

Anyway, Juno rocks! Thank you for your time and patients (of the dental variety). I have been in NOLA all weekend and I am tired or maybe drunk...but definitely hung and over! Peace!

I saw Juno this weekend too and loved it! I'm still peeved that The Great Debaters didn't get nominated but I do plan to see most of those nominated - one at a time, that is. I don't think I could sit through 5 at a time but thanks for the invitation anyway.

I agree Sara. It sounds like a lot of fun, but my rear-end feels a little sore just thinking about it.

I concur with everybody, Juno was a great movie! One of my favorites I've seen in a long time.

No Country For Old Men is the only other one on the list I've seen, and it too was great. The Coen Brothers are magnificent filmmakers.

Tough year to pick a winner.
